Asalha Bucha

Asalha Bucha is a Buddhist religious festival celebrated on the full moon each month of July, commemorating the day of Buddha's first sermon to his first five disciples in the Garden of gazelles in Sarnath.

This year the festival will be celebrated on July 22 and this day will be public holiday. Processions with candles held around the temples are decorated flowers for the occasion.
